Wendy of Red Velvet Tops Poll as Most Desired Female Singer to Share Holiday Meals With

Wendy, a member of the popular K-pop group Red Velvet, has been voted as the number one female singer people want to share holiday meals with during the upcoming Chuseok festival.

The poll, conducted by TENASIA from the 6th to the 12th of this month, asked fans, 'Which female singer would you like to share holiday meals with during the upcoming Chuseok?'

Wendy secured the top spot. She recently kicked off her debut solo world tour, '2025 WENDY 1st WORLD TOUR 'W:EALIVE' IN SEOUL,' on September 20th and 21st at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul. The event marked the beginning of her first solo world tour and was met with enthusiastic applause from fans. Wendy transitioned to ASND Entertainment after ending her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment in April.

In second place is Yuri from the group Girls' Generation. She is set to embark on her third fan meeting tour, 'YURIVERSE,' starting in Bangkok on November 1st, followed by stops in Ho Chi Minh City, Taipei, and other locations across Asia. The title 'YURIVERSE' reflects her desire to connect with fans as one in the universe. Yuri has also recently participated in the 'UNICEF TEAM' campaign, which aims to unite people to support children worldwide facing challenges such as war, disaster, and poverty.

Carmen from the group Hearts2Hearts takes the third spot. The group is set to make a comeback on the 20th with their first mini-album 'FOCUS.' The album includes the title track 'FOCUS,' the single 'STYLE' released in June, and the pre-released track 'Pretty Please,' among a total of six songs. The choreography for their performances is crafted by Jonain, known for the OST 'Golden' from the animated film 'KPop Demon Hunters,' promising high-quality dance routines.

Currently, on the TENASIA website(topten.tenasia.com), polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to drink traditional liquor with in the cool autumn weather?' and similar questions for female singers and trot singers.
