Actress Kim Seul-gi shared several photos on her Instagram on the 16th, featuring her with Shin Goo.
In the released photos, Shin Goo and Kim Seul-gi are seen sitting closely together, posing affectionately. Beside them is a cake with the words 'Congratulations on your 90th birthday, Shin Goo'.
Notably, Shin Goo's noticeably slimmer face drew attention. Despite this, he displayed a bright smile, making heart gestures with Kim Seul-gi, showcasing his playful side.
Previously, Shin Goo appeared on the tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' last year, where he revealed that he had been diagnosed with heart failure and is currently wearing a pacemaker.
He explained, "My heart doesn't beat normally; it beats slowly. If left untreated, it could lead to a stroke due to insufficient oxygen supply. That's why I have a pacemaker to regulate my heartbeat." He added, "There were tough times when my lungs filled with fluid, but I believe in keeping my promises to the stage," demonstrating his enduring passion for acting.
Born in 1936, Shin Goo debuted in 1962 with the play 'Cow' and has maintained a remarkable acting career for over 60 years. Recently, he showcased his robust stamina by appearing in the play 'Waiting for Godot' alongside Park Geun-hyung.
