Renowned comedian Park Na-rae, who previously made headlines for purchasing a standalone house in Yongsan-gu, Seoul for 5.5 billion won, is set to explore Sangam-dong on the latest episode of MBC's 'Save Me! Holmes'.
Airing today (16th), the episode titled 'Neighborhoods Tailored for Professionals: Part 3' takes viewers to Sangam-dong, a hub for broadcasting professionals.
Sangam-dong, which has emerged as a broadcasting mecca since 2007, is home to approximately 600 broadcasting-related companies. The show will delve into the lives of broadcasting professionals, exploring where and how they live. Joining Park Na-rae on this journey are Hong Seok-cheon, a 31-year veteran in broadcasting, and Im Woo-il, a newcomer to Sangam-dong.
The trio heads to the old town area, known for its traditional eateries, to explore the local food scene. Park Na-rae notes, "Many broadcasting teams dine here, especially during the year-end awards season when reservations are hard to come by." They visit a long-standing sundae soup restaurant, its walls adorned with photos and autographs of celebrities, piquing curiosity.
After their culinary exploration, the group heads to MBC, a major broadcasting station. There, they encounter lawyer Park Ji-hoon, a frequent panelist on news and current affairs programs. Park Ji-hoon shares that he had just finished recording at MBC and was waiting for his next session at YTN. "At my peak, I appeared on up to eight shows a day. The concentration of broadcasting stations in Sangam-dong makes such a schedule possible," he reveals.
The team then visits a 'celebrity apartment' penthouse in the 'broadcasting district' of Sangam-dong. Known for its exclusivity, only four units share this unique structure. Inside, they are awestruck by the high ceilings and open space, with the living room offering panoramic views of Sky Park and the Han River.
The duplex features multiple rooms and a second-floor balcony with a panoramic view of Sangam World Cup Stadium and Bukhansan Mountain, adding to the anticipation.
Catch the third installment of 'Neighborhoods Tailored for Professionals' in Sangam-dong tonight at 10 PM on 'Save Me! Holmes'.
