TWS to Dazzle at Japan's Countdown Japan 25/26 Festival

K-pop group TWS is set to showcase their dynamic performance skills at Japan's renowned year-end festival.

According to Pledis Entertainment, TWS members Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin will be part of the lineup for 'Countdown Japan 25/26,' taking place from December 27 to 31 at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo. The group will kick off the festival with a performance on the opening day, December 27.

'Countdown Japan' is Japan's largest indoor festival, having started in 2003. Last year, it attracted approximately 160,000 attendees. The festival features a lineup of prominent Japanese artists, and this year includes ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, UVERworld, Vaundy, and Creepy Nuts. TWS's invitation follows their recent performance at the 'Rock in Japan Festival 2025,' marking their continued presence at top-tier events.

TWS made their debut in Japan this summer, conducting a tour across six cities with 13 performances, establishing themselves as promising K-pop representatives with a youthful and vibrant appeal. Their debut single 'Nice to see you again' (original title はじめまして/ Hajimemashite) released in July, achieved over 250,000 shipments, earning a 'Platinum' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

Their latest release, the mini-album 'play hard,' is also gaining traction in Japan. The title track 'OVERDRIVE' topped the Japan Line Music 'K-pop Top 100' chart for two consecutive days (October 14-15). The music video for the track has also ranked on the daily popular music video charts on YouTube in both Korea and Japan.

Meanwhile, TWS will perform their new song on Mnet's 'M Countdown' on October 16, delivering a powerful performance that combines their signature refreshing style with an energetic twist, capturing the essence of youthful passion.
