BOYNEXTDOOR, consisting of members Sungho, Liu, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Lee Han, and Woonhak, is set to release their fifth mini-album, 'The Action,' on the 20th at 6 PM. The album embodies their willingness to take on challenges and their desire for growth, with the members actively participating in the songwriting process.
The themes of challenge and growth align with the group's consistent upward trajectory. Having contributed to their debut album, the members have shown significant growth by participating in the entire production of their fourth mini-album, 'No Genre.' In the new release, Lee Han joins Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak in the songwriting team, showcasing the group's enhanced capabilities.
BOYNEXTDOOR has established their unique identity with 'everyday life music' that captures vivid emotions. Their relatable songs have resonated with listeners, leading to a steady rise on music charts. Earlier this year, their first digital single, 'I LOVE YOU Today,' dominated both domestic and international charts. Their growth continued with the release of 'No Genre' in May, achieving consecutive million-seller status.
Additionally, their mini-albums 'WHY..,' 'HOW?,' '19.99,' and 'No Genre' have all successfully charted on the US Billboard 200, marking four consecutive entries. In Japan, their second, third, and fourth mini-albums achieved three consecutive weekly chart-topping positions on the Oricon charts.
On the day of the album release, the six members will hold a comeback showcase at 8 PM at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, where they will debut the title track 'Hollywood Action.' The song exudes the confidence of a Hollywood star.
Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR is set to perform at the 'Countdown Japan 25/26' festival from December 27 to 31. They will take the stage on the 27th, delivering a memorable performance. 'Countdown Japan' is Japan's largest year-end festival, featuring top-performing musicians each year.
