Remembering Sulli: A Tribute on Her 6th Anniversary

The 6th anniversary of the late singer and actress Sulli (real name Choi Jin-ri) is being observed.

Sulli was found deceased at her home in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, on October 14, 2019, at approximately 3:20 PM. She was 25 years old.

Sulli entered the entertainment industry in 2005 as a child actress in the SBS drama 'Ballad of Seodong.' Four years later, in 2009, she debuted as a member of the K-pop group f(x), becoming a leading figure in the K-pop idol scene. She left the group in 2015 to pursue a career in acting.

Even before her career transition, Sulli showed her passion for acting by appearing in dramas like 'To the Beautiful You' and films such as 'The Pirates' and 'Fashion King.' In 2017, she captivated audiences with her performance in the movie 'Real.'

On this day, Sulli's older brother posted on his personal social media account, "I believe that loving someone means enduring my own misfortune. I commemorate the anniversary of my beloved sister, Sulli."

He further added, "I also commemorate the birthday of Charlie Kirk, a young man who loved America dearly. If this post is attacked, your sanctuaries will be shattered. Do not provoke me." This statement has sparked a heated debate among netizens.
