K-Indie Lounge Unveils Emotionally Rich New Releases for Fall

The Korea Music Label Industry Association's 'K-Indie Lounge' introduces four emotionally rich new releases for September and early October, perfectly capturing the essence of the deepening season. From debut voices of youth to reinterpretations of classic hits, these new releases offer a diverse range of musical experiences.

On September 29, the three-member pop-rock band BLUHWA, under JMG (Double X Entertainment), made their debut with the single 'Greenery.' Formerly known as GLU, members Kwak Eun-jae, Cho Hyo-chan, and Lee Kwang-ho return with a new project under the theme of 'the light and dreams blooming in every moment of life,' singing an anthem of youth. The new track combines BLUHWA's signature funky rhythm and lively guitar riffs, harmonizing with the cool season.

On the same day, rookie band OmO from Rockstar Music & Live participated in the OST for the movie 'Run, Honey: Bad Girl' with the track 'Run, Honey (Bad Girl Ver.).' This track is a modern reinterpretation of the original character's bold energy, infused with OmO's unique and playful sound.

On September 30, the band OAH! from Your Summer released the single 'Harley.' The song captures the desire to escape reality and go somewhere, reminiscent of childhood dreams of riding a Harley bike around the world. The message that it's okay whether you leave or not comes as a profound comfort with a cheerful sound.

On October 1, HYNN (Park Hye-won) from New Order Entertainment released a remake of MC the Max's classic 'You Blow,' now available as an official track. Originally performed on SBS's 'The Listen: Our Stage Again' last year, the song received high praise for its explosive high notes and deep emotion, leading to over 4 million views and fan requests for an official release. This remake maintains the original's poignancy while adding HYNN's detailed vocal expression and sophisticated arrangement.

The international event 'APAC United in Music,' aimed at fostering music industry exchange in the Asia-Pacific region, will be held across Seoul from October 18 to 22. Organized by the Korea Music Label Industry Association (LIAK), the event will feature participation from the World Independent Network (WIN), Japan's IMCJ, Australia's AIR, New Zealand's IMNZ, India's SIMCA, and global digital distribution cooperative Merlin. The event will include forums, networking, and book concerts, providing a platform for practical exchange and collaboration among domestic and international music industry professionals.
