Actor Kim Woo-bin candidly shared his experiences and realizations during his battle with nasopharyngeal cancer.
On the 12th, Kim Woo-bin appeared on Jae-hyung Jung's channel 'Fairy Jae-hyung' where he engaged in an open conversation.
In the released video, Kim Woo-bin recalled, "In the past, if I had a three-hour break, I would sleep for one hour and exercise for two," reflecting on his routine before his diagnosis. After battling cancer, he confessed, "Now, I sleep for the full three hours."
Kim Woo-bin opened up about the emotional struggle of having to give up projects he had planned after being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017. He particularly remembered the moment he learned of his illness just a month after being cast in Director Choi Dong-hoon's film 'Wiretap.' He shared, "I had many thoughts, and those painful times were meaningful to me. The rest that came with it gifted me only good things."
Kim Woo-bin added, "Honestly, the pain was so intense that I don't remember it. That pain didn't stay with me, but I realized the importance of loving others and being loved, things I took for granted. Since then, my heart feels so good."
Kim Woo-bin emphasized that through his recovery process, he gained a renewed appreciation for himself and those around him. He expressed gratitude, saying, "That time left me with only good things."
Kim Woo-bin was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017 and was declared cancer-free in 2019. In this video, he shared his current healthy lifestyle and reflections, delivering a touching message.
