Singer Park Seo-jin was moved to tears during his first family trip as his father's health took a turn for the worse.
On the November 11th episode of KBS2TV's 'Men Who Do Housework 2', Park Seo-jin's family embarked on their first journey to Macau.
During the broadcast, the family enjoyed visiting tourist attractions, but Park's father, who has had ongoing knee issues, showed signs of health deterioration.
Watching this, Park's mother was moved to tears, expressing her concern, "If you're in pain, you should say something. I didn't even realize my husband was hurting," she lamented. Park Seo-jin worried, "I might have planned the itinerary too aggressively without considering my parents. I don't even know where the hospital is or how to call for help."
Park Seo-jin shared his excitement about showing his sister Hyo-jung the world on her first overseas trip. However, his father experienced leg pain while climbing stairs and had to sit down to take medication while the family was taking photos. In an interview, his father candidly shared, "I came along because I can still move despite the pain. But as the head of the family, I feel guilty for not being able to do anything and becoming a burden."
The next day, Park's father couldn't get out of bed and told the family, "My leg hurts. Don't worry about me, just enjoy the trip." Park Seo-jin, visibly torn, left the room only to return, saying, "If you're in pain or need water, please contact me," expressing his guilt for leaving his father behind.
