'Cho Yong-pil, Forever This Moment' marks the legendary Cho Yong-pil's return to KBS for a solo performance, 28 years after his iconic 'Big Show' in 1997. As a living legend who has been a constant presence in the history of Korean popular music, Cho Yong-pil's comeback is generating significant interest across all generations in Korea.
The 'Cho Yong-pil, Forever This Moment' concert at Gocheok Sky Dome, which sold out in just three minutes, has been praised for its unprecedented scale, quality, and audience engagement. This has only heightened anticipation for the upcoming broadcast.
KBS announced, "The broadcast of 'Cho Yong-pil, Forever This Moment' will be in 4K UHD, a decision made to deliver the legendary Cho Yong-pil's extraordinary performance in the most vivid detail possible."
The 4K UHD format offers four times the resolution of standard FHD, allowing viewers to enjoy detailed and sharp images even on large screens. This technology will vividly capture the overwhelming scale of the Gocheok Dome and the spectacular graphics of the 130m x 22m LED wall that received rave reviews from the audience. The main broadcast of 'Cho Yong-pil, Forever This Moment' will air on the 6th at 7:20 PM, followed by 'Cho Yong-pil, Forever This Moment - The Record of the Day' on the 8th at 8 PM.
