On the November 30th episode of MBC's variety show 'Rural Village Lee Jang-woo 2', Lee Jang-woo visited a charming green-roofed house located in Dongsan-ri, Ganghwa Island.
During a pre-show interview, Lee Jang-woo praised his own cooking skills, saying, "I've improved since last year. I've leveled up from Season 1." When asked about the makgeolli he made in Season 1, he explained, "It caused quite a stir. I received hundreds of DMs." He added, "This show feels like a hidden master chef search program. I want to find culinary masters and create a menu with them this season."
Lee Jang-woo then headed to Ganghwa Island. Upon arriving at Gyodongdo, he complimented a marine soldier at a checkpoint, saying, "The Marines look cool." The soldiers recognized him, expressing admiration with comments like "I'm a real fan," "Are you really a celebrity?" and "You look even better in person."
Upon reaching the house where he would stay, the production team mentioned, "The village lent it to us because Jang-woo is coming." Lee Jang-woo was impressed by the beautifully decorated house. Discovering an outdoor kitchen, he exclaimed, "I love this space. Outdoor kitchens are the best. Cooking should be done outside."
He expressed his delight, saying, "It feels like I have another home. I've always wanted to live in a place like this, with a sea view, an outdoor kitchen, great views, the sound of birds, and fresh air. It's a perfect house." He added, "The name is beautiful too, 'Green Roof House.' I think 'Jang-woo Green' suits me well. I chose the green roof wisely."
After touring the house, Lee Jang-woo visited the Dongsan-ri village hall. The elders complimented him, saying, "You look even more handsome in person," and "I saw you in a drama, and you're very good-looking." After enjoying a meal prepared by the elders, he completed errands at the market.
Lee Jang-woo also showcased his nurturing side, holding a 98-day-old baby with ease. The elders joked, "We thought Jang-woo was a father. Did you have a baby without getting married?" bringing laughter to the scene.
