S2 Entertainment has announced its intention to take strong legal action in response to allegations of a leaked CCTV video involving KISS OF LIFE member Julie.
On the 29th, S2 Entertainment stated, "We have identified the illegal distribution of a video online. Despite our previous statements, baseless speculations continue to spread, prompting us to clarify our position."
The agency expressed concern over the unverified rumors and reckless assumptions that have severely damaged the artist's reputation and dignity, stating that the situation has reached an intolerable level. They further explained, "We are currently collecting and analyzing evidence with our legal team and are preparing to take legal action against the dissemination of false information, malicious posts, and violations of personal rights."
S2 Entertainment emphasized that all evidence gathered will be used in legal proceedings without any settlements or leniency. They warned that the illegal distribution of the video, as well as any secondary harm or manipulation, could result in legal consequences.
The controversy began when a video surfaced on China's Weibo, showing a man and woman engaging in intimate behavior in what appears to be a private room at a bar. Some netizens speculated that the individuals in the video were VERIVERY's Kangmin and Julie.
In response, S2 Entertainment maintained a cautious stance, stating, "This is a personal matter, and the company has no comment." Meanwhile, Jellyfish Entertainment, Kangmin's agency, firmly denied the rumors, calling them "completely false and malicious fabrications that severely damage the artist's reputation."
