K-pop sensation Kim Junsu has unveiled the secret behind his enduring vocal prowess, which has captivated audiences for over two decades.

On September 27, Kim Junsu took the stage at the '2025 ATA Festival' held at Nanji Hangang Park in Seoul, performing his hit songs 'I Don't Want to Love' and 'Incredible.' Expressing his excitement, Junsu shared, "I had a good night's sleep and the weather is perfect for an outdoor performance, so I'm really looking forward to it." He added, "I always ensure to get a good night's sleep before any performance, and today I feel great."

When asked about his favorite nickname given by fans, Junsu said, "There are so many ways fans address me, and each one is filled with affection, so I can't choose just one."

Discussing his musical theater agency, Palm Tree Island, Junsu stated, "Besides myself, we have some of the best actors. My goal is to help all our actors pursue what they love to the fullest."

When asked about his hopes for his 30th anniversary, Junsu remarked, "Ten years from now feels like a distant future, but I hope to still be singing in front of audiences." He expressed gratitude to his fans, saying, "Thank you for filling the venue. I hope the ATA Festival continues for 10, 100, or even 1,000 more editions."

The ATA Festival's lineup on the 27th featured headliner Kim Junsu, with supporting acts including Jannabi and Peppertones. Other performers included Lee Mujin, 10cm, H1-KEY, Say My Name, Kyung Seo, Park Hye-won, and Hwang Garam.

On the second day (September 28), headliner Kim Jaejoong will take the stage, alongside popular K-pop groups such as The Boyz, Tours, Cravity, Ha Sung-woon, Fifty Fifty, 82Major, QWER, Eunice, Bad Villain, and New Beat, lighting up the riverside.

Kim Junsu, who began his career as an idol, has expanded his repertoire to include musical theater, singing, variety shows, and video content. He founded Palm Tree Island, a musical theater agency, solidifying his influence in the industry.

Last month, Junsu held a fan concert in Japan, reuniting with local fans after nearly two years. The four performances in Osaka and Yokohama were sold out, demonstrating his enduring ticket power. Additionally, Junsu will hold a solo concert from November 9-12 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium, reconnecting with his domestic fans.

The ATA Festival venue at Nanji Hangang Park offers convenient access with a free shuttle bus service running between DMC (Digital Media City Station) and the venue from 9 AM to 10 PM. The bus provides direct transport between exits 2 and 8 of DMC and the ticket zone near Saenuri Children's Park.
