Lee Sung-min revealed he felt no pressure about his daring scene in 'No Other Choice'.
On the 25th, actor Lee Sung-min, who stars in the film 'No Other Choice', was interviewed at a cafe in Sogyeok-dong, Seoul.
'No Other Choice' tells the story of Man-soo, who, after being suddenly laid off from a paper company where he worked for 25 years, struggles to find reemployment. Lee Sung-min plays the role of Gu Beom-mo, a veteran in the paper industry desperate to get back into the field.
Previously, Lee Sung-min appeared in the comedy film 'Handsome Guys', where he showcased a scene revealing his 'white belly'. At the time, he stated, "It's not makeup. My skin is naturally white," and added, "It would be nice to have a muscular body, but I don't. I thought showing my physique would attract attention. It wasn't a calculated move. There was an intention to show what kind of person he is through exposure."
In this film, he presents a bold scene showing his back. He commented, "I didn't feel much pressure. It's a scene where Beom-mo, who is stuck in a rut, is reborn with a new resolution. It's like a bridge cut in the middle. I thought it was a necessary scene for the work." He continued, "Originally, the storyboard had him getting up, undressing, and walking to the bathhouse in profile. The director decided to end it with just getting up. It wasn't particularly difficult." He added with a laugh, "Since Beom-mo doesn't show a muscular or slim back, viewers might find it unsightly."
