Verivery's Kangmin (Yoo Kangmin), who finished in 9th place on Mnet's boy group survival show 'BOYS II PLANET', shared a heartfelt handwritten letter expressing his gratitude.
On the 26th, Kangmin posted a letter on his social media, stating, "The long journey of four months has come to an end. Each day was challenging, but I am happy to have been part of a great show with wonderful people."
He continued, "I sincerely thank the Star Creators who supported me. There must have been times when you felt tired and exhausted while cheering for me, but I am grateful that you never gave up on me and loved me until the end. Every time I prepared for a performance, your support motivated me to work harder, sweat more, and give my all on stage. Although 'BOYS II PLANET' has ended, my life journey is far from over. I will do my best to become a great person and idol for you all."
Kangmin also expressed his affection for his fellow contestants. He said, "To the 160 participants of 'BOYS II PLANET', I am glad I joined from the start. During Verivery's six years, we unknowingly lost some of our passion, but it reignited here. The excitement and determination in the eyes and gestures of those stepping on stage for the first time were inspiring. I gave my all to prepare and perform on stage, thanks to you. I wanted to be sincere and not let down those who were eliminated earlier. We are still young, so let's not be discouraged or give up. Let's shine without regrets."
He also thanked the production team of 'BOYS II PLANET'. Kangmin said, "Thank you for working tirelessly to create an entertaining show and amazing stages. Your efforts allowed us to film comfortably and happily."
Finally, he addressed his Verivery members, saying, "I know how complex your emotions must have been while supporting me, and it touched me deeply. Thank you for cheering on my new beginning." He concluded with determination, "I'm back, so let's give it our all, Verivery!"
The finale of 'BOYS II PLANET' aired on the 25th, announcing the final debut lineup of eight members. Lee Sangwon, Zhou An Xin, He Xin Long, Kim Geonwoo, Zhang Jia Hao, Lee Leo, Chung Sanghyeon, and Kim Junseo will debut as ALPHA DRIVE ONE. Yoo Kangmin, who placed 9th, narrowly missed the chance to debut.
