Shin Ye-eun Stars in Disney+ Original Historical Drama 'Turbulence'


Actress Shin Ye-eun is set to star in Disney+'s first original historical series, 'Turbulence,' which premieres today (26th). Shin Ye-eun takes on the role of Choi Eun, the youngest daughter of the 'Choi Merchant Group,' who aspires to lead the largest merchant group in Joseon. The drama is an action-packed tale of destiny set in Gyeonggang, where all the money and resources of Joseon converge, and follows the stories of those who dream of a better world.

Through her portrayal of Choi Eun, Shin Ye-eun will depict a progressive and bold female character who defies traditional customs to pursue her dreams. Her performance is expected to drive the narrative forward.

Shin Ye-eun has showcased her versatility across various genres, from modern dramas like 'He Is Psychometric,' 'Welcome,' 'More Than Friends,' and 'A Hundred Memories,' to thrillers and historical dramas such as 'Revenge of Others' and 'The Secret Romantic Guesthouse.' The series will release episodes 1 to 3 today, with two new episodes available weekly, culminating in a total of nine episodes.
