On the 25th of last month, Park Ji-hyun, who stars in the Netflix series 'You and Everything Else,' was interviewed at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul. The series follows the intertwined lives of Eun-jung (played by Kim Go-eun) and Sang-yeon, who are both best friends and rivals. Park Ji-hyun plays the role of Cheon Sang-yeon.
Having received much love for her role in 'You and Everything Else,' Park Ji-hyun humbly stated, "It's never just my own." She added, "When I receive praise for my acting, I think, 'This isn't all mine.' The actors and staff helped me manage my emotions well. Thanks to everyone's consideration, I was able to portray Sang-yeon effectively. I'm very grateful," she said with a smile.
When asked about her chemistry with Kim Go-eun, Park Ji-hyun responded, "It was wonderful. Go-eun is like a pillar of support for me." She explained, "As an actor, you have to accomplish what is promised within the limited time on set. But on this set, I was able to do many things I wanted. The reason was entirely because of Kim Go-eun, who was like a rock supporting me."
Park Ji-hyun added, "I'm sure Go-eun had her own struggles. Yet, she endured everything for me. So, whenever I receive praise for my acting skills, I feel both sorry and grateful to Go-eun."
'You and Everything Else' was released in its entirety, with all 15 episodes available on Netflix since the 12th.
