CORTIS, the rising K-pop group, has achieved a remarkable feat by topping the Spotify charts with three songs in just a month.
The track 'FaSHioN' from their debut album has claimed the number one spot on Spotify's 'Daily Viral Songs Global' chart for two consecutive days, September 22 and 23. It also secured the third position in the United States and seventh in Japan on the 'Daily Viral Songs' chart by country and region.
CORTIS continues to enjoy success with both their title and album tracks. Their title track 'What You Want' dominated the 'Daily Viral Songs Global' chart from September 1 to 7, while the intro track 'GO!' topped the chart from September 9 to 11 and again from September 16 to 19. As these tracks remain in the top ranks, 'FaSHioN' has joined them at the summit, with another album track, 'JoyRide', reaching fourth place during the same period.
Spotify's 'Daily Viral Songs' chart ranks songs that have seen a significant increase in streams or shares recently. It's a rare achievement for a rookie group to have three songs consecutively reach number one, a feat even established groups seldom accomplish. CORTIS has also made its mark on the latest Billboard charts (as of September 27), entering both the 'Global 200' and 'Global Excl. U.S.' charts.
The track 'GO!' is also making waves on domestic charts, securing the top spot on Apple Music Korea's 'Top 100 Today' from September 21 to 23. It became the first debut boy group track this year to enter Melon's daily chart, maintaining its position from September 21 to 24, and is poised to enter the weekly chart.
CORTIS is a new group launched by Big Hit Music under HYBE. Their debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' has surpassed 500,000 copies in cumulative sales on the Hanteo Chart as of September 23. Additionally, it reached 15th place on the Billboard 200 (as of September 27), marking the highest debut album ranking for a K-pop group, excluding project groups.
