Korean Broadcaster Kang Soo-jung Shares Harrowing Experience Amidst Typhoon Saola in Hong Kong

Korean broadcaster Kang Soo-jung has shared her experience of the severe impact of Typhoon Saola.

On the 24th, Kang posted a video on her Instagram story with the caption, "I'm glad I brought all the plants and the table and chairs inside yesterday."

The video reveals the intense conditions on Kang's terrace, with rain pouring in and strong winds due to Typhoon Saola. Kang expressed her fear, stating, "The wind is terrifying," and hoped for the storm to pass by the afternoon.

The Hong Kong Observatory issued the highest-level Typhoon Signal No. 10 at 2:40 AM. Over 700 flights were canceled, effectively shutting down the city. Kindergartens, primary, and secondary schools have been closed since the 22nd.

Kang Soo-jung married a Korean-American finance professional in 2008 and welcomed their son, Jemin, in 2014. The family currently resides in the affluent Repulse Bay area of Hong Kong, valued at approximately 8 billion KRW.
