Shin Seung-hun Celebrates 35 Years with New Album 'SINCERELY MELODIES'

Renowned South Korean singer Shin Seung-hun has described himself as an 'ongoing artist' as he marks a significant milestone in his career.

On the afternoon of the 22nd, Shin Seung-hun held a press conference at the Novotel Ambassador in Gangnam, Seoul, to celebrate the release of his 12th studio album, 'SINCERELY MELODIES'.

Reflecting on the release of his new album, Shin expressed, "I didn't want to commemorate the glory of past Shin Seung-hun by releasing a remake album for my 35th anniversary. Instead, I wanted to fill it with 11 new songs to show that I am an 'ongoing artist'. The entire album will be released tomorrow, and I am both excited and delighted."

He further shared, "I recently filmed for KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs', and I felt truly sorry. The audience's expressions while applauding were memorable. They seemed genuinely happy to see me, and it made me realize how long they've been waiting. Interacting with younger artists also made me realize how detached I've been."

'SINCERELY MELODIES' marks Shin Seung-hun's first full-length album in a decade. The album features 11 tracks, all of which he produced and composed. The title tracks are 'Gravity of You' and 'TRULY'. 'Gravity of You' explores the emotions that come with the beginning and end of love, centered around acoustic and electric guitar melodies. 'TRULY' is a heartfelt song about realizing the true essence of love over time.

Shin Seung-hun's 12th studio album, 'SINCERELY MELODIES', will be available on various music streaming platforms on the 23rd at 6 PM.
