K-Pop Star Sung Si-kyung's Agency Operates Without Required Registration
Renowned K-pop singer Sung Si-kyung's agency has reportedly been operating without the necessary registration as a pop culture and arts planning business.

According to industry insiders on the 16th, Sung Si-kyung's one-man agency, 에스케이재원, has been active since its establishment in February 2011 without registering as a pop culture and arts planning business.

The CEO of the company is Sung Si-kyung's sister, Seong Mo, and Sung Si-kyung has been continuing his activities through SK Jaewon since his exclusive contract with Jellyfish Entertainment ended in 2018.

Under the current Pop Culture and Arts Industry Development Act, entertainers operating as a corporation or as an individual business with more than one person must complete registration as a pop culture and arts planning business. Failure to comply can result in imprisonment for up to two years or a fine of up to 20 million KRW.
