SEVENTEEN's Hoshi (Kwon Soon-young, 29) is set to fulfill his military service duties as he enlists in the army.
According to his agency, Pledis Entertainment, Hoshi entered the army training center on the 16th to undergo basic military training before continuing his service as an active-duty soldier.
Pledis Entertainment stated, "As the entrance ceremony at the training center is a gathering for many soldiers and their families, we kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting the site. We encourage fans to send their farewells and support to Hoshi and Woozi through Weverse." They added, "We ask for CARATs' unwavering love and support so that Hoshi can diligently fulfill his military duties and return in good health."
They further noted, "Hoshi participated in writing the lyrics, expressing his burning passion through the song. Marking his 10th debut anniversary as a turning point, the track highlights his determination and aspirations for a new chapter."
Meanwhile, Hoshi is the fourth member of SEVENTEEN to begin military service. Woozi enlisted on the 15th, following Jeonghan, who started alternative service last September, and Wonwoo, who began his alternative service this past April.
