Actress Nam Bo-ra showcased her sweet newlywed life on the latest episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release, Pyeonstorang' aired on the 12th.
In this episode, Nam Bo-ra took on the challenge of making kimbap. While in Gimcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, she video-called her husband, asking, "Didn't you miss me?" Her husband replied, "It's lonely waking up without you next to me," highlighting their affectionate newlywed life.
Nam Bo-ra also showed her affectionate side by calling her pet dog, Meoteori, "baby," and humorously advised her husband, "Don't have too much fun while I'm away."
Nam Bo-ra announced her participation in the Gimcheon Kimbap Festival, stating, "I will present 'Bora's Kimbap'." She indulged in some grand shopping, purchasing 10kg of Jireh black pork at the market, and then proceeded to make kimbap for the elderly at the village hall.
When told she needed to make more than 20 servings, Chef Lee Yeon-bok asked, "How many rolls of kimbap have you made before?" Nam Bo-ra revealed, "I've made up to 800 rolls. My family and I made 800 rolls during a volunteer activity," showcasing her exceptional skills.
Together with her two younger sisters, Nam Bo-ra made wild vegetable bibimbap kimbap and Jireh black pork boiled kimbap. While her sisters fried 2-3 eggs each, Nam Bo-ra amazed everyone by frying 10 eggs at once on a griddle.
Nam Bo-ra brought her beloved griddle to Gimcheon to quickly fry eggs, and her sisters also worked swiftly, resembling a kimbap factory. The efficient division of labor and quick hands impressed the show's participants, prompting Chef Lee Yeon-bok to comment, "It's not just quick hands; it's trained hands."
Nam Bo-ra's kimbap received positive feedback from the elderly, who praised, "You could start a kimbap business," and "It was worth the wait," requesting refills.
