82Major is gearing up for their comeback next month, having engaged in a collaboration project that highlights each member's unique style. The members have been actively involved in song selection, lyric writing, and overall production, collaborating with various musicians to expand their musical spectrum.

The industry is closely watching their achievements, which have defied the limitations of being under a smaller agency. Known for their catchy and distinctive tracks like 'Chok' and 'Tongue Tip,' 82Major made a mark by appearing on the Billboard charts within a year of their debut, earning the title 'miracle of the small agency.'

Their second mini-album 'X-82' released last year, ranked 45th on 'Billboard Album Sales,' 37th on 'Current Album Sales,' 24th on 'Emerging Artists,' and 15th on 'World Sales.' They continued their momentum with 'What Are You Looking At,' from their third mini-album 'SILENCE SYNDROME,' which doubled the initial sales of 'X-82.'

82Major has earned the title 'performance idols' by selling out every concert. After a solo performance at Yes24 Wonder Rock Hall in January, they expanded their concert scale with a performance at MyungHwa Live Hall in June. They successfully completed a tour across 25 North American cities. Recently, they have performed at 'Waterbomb Busan 2025,' 'KCON LA 2025,' 'TIMA,' and 'EveryOne Fes 2025.' They are set to perform at the 'ATA Festival 2025' at Seoul's Nanji Hangang Park on September 28th.

SM Entertainment took notice and acquired shares in their agency, Great M Entertainment, becoming the second-largest shareholder in May. This move is part of SM's 'SM 3.0' strategy, which aims to expand their multi-label strategy through external investments, enhancing their IP production capabilities and global competitiveness.

82Major is also expanding their international presence. They announced an exclusive contract with a major Japanese management company, HoriPro International, and partnered with Japan's largest ticket service, eplus, to establish an official Japanese fan club.

Domestically, 82Major has built a strong fanbase and is preparing for their first fan meeting in Korea. They will host '82DE WORLD' at Seoul's Kwangwoon University Donghae Culture and Arts Center on the 20th. In July, they were chosen as the new face of a school uniform brand, marking their first advertisement since debut. A brand representative stated, "82Major is an artist with their own color, capable of encompassing both intensity on stage and naturalness in everyday life."

With their powerful songs and performances, all eyes are on what new music 82Major will bring to K-pop fans.
