Ibuki, a member of the Japanese team Ojo Gang from Mnet's 'World of Street Woman Fighter 3' (SWF3), has opened up about why she won't be participating in the 'SWF3' concert.
On October 8, Ibuki took to her Instagram to express her regret, saying, "I'm truly sorry for not being able to join the Seoul concert, which I really wanted to participate in. I promised to meet everyone after our victory, but I couldn't keep that promise."
Ibuki claimed, "The organizers demanded a contract in a situation where I didn't even have the right to speak as an artist." She added, "They also took actions that could cause discord among the members, so I was discussing future concerts with a Korean lawyer."
However, Ibuki stated, "While discussions were ongoing, the concert organizers unilaterally announced that I wouldn't be participating in the Busan concert, which is why I'm writing this statement." She appealed, "I hope the organizers will cooperate so I can participate in future concerts."
Fans who read her post reacted with comments like, "I'm sorry... I don't understand why Korea is like this," "It's Mnet's fault," and "I'm relieved it's not a health issue."
Meanwhile, Ibuki's team, Ojo Gang, won the final victory in 'SWF3'.
Dear fans,
I'm truly sorry for not being able to join the Seoul concert, which I really wanted to participate in. I promised to meet everyone after our victory, but I couldn't keep that promise.
During the proposal process by the concert organizers, I was in a situation where I didn't even have the right to speak as an artist, and they demanded a contract. They also took actions that could cause discord among the members, so I was discussing future concerts with a Korean lawyer.
However, currently, the concert organizers unilaterally announced "I wouldn't be participating in the Busan concert" without formal discussions, which is why I'm writing this statement.
I couldn't inform you earlier because revealing this could harm Ojogang members and risk fans not enjoying the Seoul concert. I'm truly sorry for not being able to attend the Seoul concert.
I sincerely apologize for causing great burden and harm to the members. I hope the organizers will willingly cooperate so I can safely participate in future concerts.
Thank you for reading until the end.
