On the October 6th episode of KBS2TV's 'Immortal Songs,' the show featured a special segment titled 'Lim Young-woong and Friends Part 2.'
During the broadcast, Lim Young-woong introduced his stage partner under the theme of 'public proposal.'
Lee Chan-won, a close friend of Lim, remarked, "Coincidentally, Kim Jong-kook announced his marriage on the recording day," and jokingly speculated, "Could Lim Young-woong be announcing his marriage too?" Lim responded with a mysterious smile and moved the ring on his hand to his ring finger, causing a stir among the audience.
Shortly after, Lim introduced singer Lyn as his partner. Lim explained, "She once publicly proposed to me on a show," and invited Lyn to the stage. Lyn expressed her happiness, saying, "I publicly proposed because I wanted to duet with Lim Young-woong while challenging myself with trot music. I'm thrilled to be on stage with him."
During the ensuing conversation, Lim's close friend Choi Yu-ri admitted, "I rarely mention my friendship with Lim Young-woong because he's so famous, and I didn't want it to seem like bragging." In contrast, Lee Chan-won humorously added, "I'm the opposite. I tell everyone in the neighborhood," eliciting laughter. Kim Jun-hyun, who was nearby, added, "There wasn't a day when Chan-won didn't mention Lim Young-woong."
Lee Chan-won further joked, "Even my father now asks me to send his regards to Lim Young-woong when we talk," causing the audience to burst into laughter.
