Meanwhile, NewJeans is currently facing legal challenges. The court sided with their agency, ADOR, in a provisional injunction to maintain the agency's status and prohibit advertising contracts, effectively halting all commercial activities, including performances, broadcasts, and endorsements.
Additionally, the court accepted ADOR's indirect compulsion application against NewJeans, ruling that if the group engages in independent activities without the agency, they must pay 1 billion KRW per member.
