South Korean actress Lee Si-young recently updated fans on her YouTube channel 'Boosiyoung'.
On November 1st, Lee Si-young shared a video titled 'Gained 4kg at 8 Months Pregnant' on her channel. In the video, she expressed her newfound love for cooking, saying, "I've been enjoying making food lately, and my recipe collection has grown significantly." She added that she started focusing on healthy recipes due to digestion issues during pregnancy.
Lee Si-young explained, "To recover well after giving birth, I need to exercise diligently, so I started eating healthier. The recipes are so simple and delicious that anyone can easily try them." She then shared several of her favorite healthy recipes.
Lee Si-young indulged in seasonal fruits like passion fruit and mixed them with sparkling water, revealing her fondness for sour flavors. She was so engrossed in her culinary experiments that she didn't notice her son calling her. "I've selected 100 great recipes because I'm so into making food these days," she proudly shared.
Even during pregnancy, Lee Si-young couldn't resist the taste of beer and opted for non-alcoholic beer, catching viewers' attention. She also crafted her own healthy meals, including egg-topped tteokbokki broth and homemade plant-based kimbap. Additionally, she showcased her homemade chocolate paired with coffee.
Despite not actively dieting, Lee Si-young emphasized her preference for healthy eating, stating, "I'm not dieting right now, nor do I have a reason to, but I love healthy food."
Lee Si-young also shared that after her father's health declined, she replaced all her cooking utensils and switched to organic ingredients, including immune-boosting, blood sugar-regulating mushroom rice. "It was initially for my parents' health, but my son and I are also satisfied with the changes," she said. "We sometimes grill, but we've mostly switched to steaming our food. It's important to maintain health while you're healthy," she emphasized.
Lee Si-young married a non-celebrity in the restaurant business in 2017 and has a son. However, she announced her separation earlier this year. In July, she revealed that she was expecting her second child through IVF, as the time to discard her frozen embryos was approaching.
Despite being eight months pregnant, Lee Si-young is preparing to participate in the Sydney Marathon in Australia, continuing her commitment to fitness.
