He mentioned, "Fortunately, my voice remains the same. Right after the surgery, the professor came to check on me, and I was able to converse. However, while my voice is naturally low-pitched, hitting high notes is now challenging. They say it should improve in about six months."

Jin Tae-hyun also noted, "The second downside is the swelling at the incision site. There's a lump, and it's swollen. When I breathe or swallow, the uvula moves down, and it feels like it's being pressed due to the swelling. It feels like someone is slightly choking me, about 5%. This makes it difficult when exercising or swallowing, and even breathing is challenging."

There are also positive aspects post-surgery. Jin Tae-hyun expressed, "Emotionally, I feel more stable. There's a psychological comfort in knowing there are no cancer cells in my body and that I'm healthy now." He continued, "After the thyroid cancer surgery, the fatigue disappeared. About 4-5 years ago, during a period of extreme stress, I would feel exhausted around 3-4 PM and didn't want to do anything. That lasted for three years. Now, I can stay active even at 6 or 7 PM."

Jin Tae-hyun revealed his thyroid cancer diagnosis in May and underwent surgery in June.
