On the episode of Channel S and SK Broadband's variety show 'Ttubogi Matcheongsa' aired on the 28th, the final day of Kwon Yul, Yeon Woo-jin, and Lee Jung-shin's culinary journey in Florence was unveiled. The trio embarked on a quest to find a local eatery in Pisa, away from the tourist crowds, but faced repeated failures.
Kwon Yul lamented, "I'm so hungry, should we just eat at a tourist spot?" while Yeon Woo-jin anxiously wondered, "Is this the first day we'll go hungry?" Eventually, they ventured to the university area of Pisa and successfully discovered a budget-friendly eatery popular among local students. Immersed in the atmosphere, Kwon Yul reminisced about his college days, saying, "When I was broke, a 3,900 won bone soup was my soul food."
At Marina di Pisa beach, Yeon Woo-jin shocked everyone by spontaneously scooping up and tasting the seawater. The trio then enjoyed a relaxing moment by the sea, engaging in a song relay reminiscent of the ocean. Lee Jung-shin chose 'In the Summer,' while Kwon Yul picked 'Sea Of Love.' When asked to select a song representing the MZ generation, Yeon Woo-jin humorously opted for Jo Jung-hyun's 1989 hit 'Sad Sea.'
The group moved to a seaside restaurant. During the meal, Yeon Woo-jin remarked, "Each region, from Saturnia yesterday to Pisa today, has its distinct charm," to which Kwon Yul responded, "Saying it like that makes it seem so far," expressing his slight disappointment. Yeon Woo-jin jokingly replied, "We're not that close, are we?" prompting Kwon Yul to suggest an impromptu informal speech session.
The final mission of their Florence trip was a solo dinner. Despite challenges like communication barriers, closed doors, and long waits, each found their own local gem and enjoyed a satisfying meal. Reuniting afterward, they shared their reflections on the trip, marking the end of their last night in Florence.
Yeon Woo-jin, experiencing a travel variety show for the first time, shared, "I was worried, but thanks to these two, I adapted smoothly. Like tiramisu melting in my mouth, you both melted into my heart." Kwon Yul smiled, "I was completely captivated by the charm of Florence, surrounded by historical sites and delicious food." Lee Jung-shin added, "It was such a wonderful time. I'm already looking forward to the next trip."
