Former R.E.F Singer Lee Sung-wook Opens Up About Life After Fame

Lee Sung-wook, a former member of the popular 90s group R.E.F, recently shared an update on his life, capturing attention with his candid revelations.

On the October 26th broadcast of KBS 1TV's 'Morning Yard,' the project group N.R.E, formed by members of the groups Noise and R.E.F, made an appearance.

During the show, Lee Sung-wook, the main vocalist of R.E.F, confessed, "I've tried my hand at almost every business, from restaurants to PC cafes and clubs. But eventually, I ran out of money, so I can't continue anymore."

Fellow Noise member Hong Jong-gu shared, "I taught at a school for about 10 years and now run my own business." Han Sang-il added, "I've also tried the restaurant business and clothing brands, and now I'm in the cosmetics industry."

Hong Jong-gu particularly noted, "As we approached Noise's 30th anniversary, Han and I decided to do something special, which led us to reunite with Lee Sung-wook." Lee added, "When I saw the members receiving IV drips at events, I thought, 'We can't die like this,' which motivated us to come together again."

Viewers who watched the broadcast left supportive messages such as "Cheering for your second act in life" and "It's great to see the nostalgic group again."
