Webtoon Artist Park Tae-joon Confirms Divorce from Former Girl Group Member Choi Soo-jung, Denies Property Dispute
News has emerged that Park Tae-joon, a webtoon artist and former star of 'Ulzzang Generation,' has divorced Choi Soo-jung, a former girl group member. Park has clarified that reports of a property division lawsuit are unfounded.

On the 28th, a media outlet reported, "It has been confirmed that Park Tae-joon divorced Choi Soo-jung last year. A close associate of the couple stated that they are currently undergoing a property division lawsuit."

However, another outlet reported on the same day that they spoke with Park Tae-joon, who confirmed, "It is true that I divorced Choi Soo-jung. Discussions began early last year, and the divorce was finalized in August of the same year."

During the call, Park stated, "There is no property division lawsuit; we amicably agreed to divorce due to personality differences." He added, "I didn't feel the need to announce it as it wasn't good news, and I didn't want to cause any harm to the other party."

The marriage between Park Tae-joon and Choi Soo-jung became public in 2020. Park revealed on the MBC variety show 'Radio Star' in October of that year, "We dated for 10 years and only registered our marriage."

Park Tae-joon gained fame after appearing on 'Ulzzang Generation' in 2009 and participated in various variety shows like 'Flower Boy Corporation' and 'Gourmet Road.' He later transitioned to a webtoon artist, creating popular series such as 'Lookism,' 'How to Fight,' and 'Life Completely Ruined.' He founded the webtoon production company The Grim Entertainment, producing numerous works.

Choi Soo-jung debuted in 2010 as a member of the Korean-Chinese joint girl group Lotte Girls. In 2018, she appeared in the web drama 'Check, Mate.' Notably, she acted alongside Park Tae-joon in the music video for singer Ram's 'Might Die Like This.'
