Korean Actress Sunwoo Yong-yeo Reflects on Her Time Running a Garment Factory in the U.S.

Korean actress Sunwoo Yong-yeo recently opened up about her experiences running a garment factory in the United States.

On the 27th, Sunwoo Yong-yeo's YouTube channel, 'Soonpoong Sunwoo Yong-yeo,' released a video titled "Sunwoo Yong-yeo's Response to Shocking Racism in the U.S. Over 8 Years (Heartfelt LA)."

In the video, Sunwoo revisits the apartment where she once lived in the U.S. and reflects on the location of her former garment factory. She recalled, "All those places were garment factories. Back in 1982, it was like Harlem in New York."

Sunwoo shared, "My husband bought a garment factory. Initially, we sold one apartment to start, and when the factory didn't do well, we sold four more apartments."

When the production team remarked, "Those Banpo apartments are worth 5 to 6 billion won now," Sunwoo calmly responded, "Why dwell on the past? I don't think about yesterday's events."

She added, "Thinking about the past is stressful. What's important is enjoying today and living well."

In addition to running the factory, Sunwoo also made pants. Showing her hands, she said, "A needle went in here. It happened while removing the needle. You inevitably become stronger."

She also expressed regret about not obtaining a real estate license, saying, "There was a place offering licenses in Korean, but I ended up running a restaurant instead. I should have gotten the license since it was in Korean."

Previously, Sunwoo revealed on her channel that her limited English skills made running the factory challenging.
