Jeong Jae-kwang Joins JTBC's New Drama 'A Hundred Memories'

Actor Jeong Jae-kwang is set to star in JTBC's new weekend drama 'A Hundred Memories'.

'A Hundred Memories' (written by Yang Hee-seung and Kim Bo-ram, directed by Kim Sang-ho, produced by SLL) is a retro youth melodrama set in the 1980s. It tells the story of the radiant friendship between bus conductor Yeong-rye (played by Kim Da-mi) and Jong-hee (played by Shin Ye-eun), and their poignant first love surrounding their destined man, Jae-pil (played by Heo Nam-joon).

Jeong Jae-kwang takes on the role of 'Seo Jong-nam', a reckless and self-centered youth. His interactions with Shin Ye-eun are expected to add tension to the drama.

Notably, Jeong Jae-kwang, who portrayed a calm yet warm anesthesiology resident Park Kyung-won in this year's Netflix series 'Trauma Center', is anticipated to showcase a 180-degree transformation in 'A Hundred Memories', raising expectations.

Since his debut in the 2015 film 'Stouting Report', Jeong Jae-kwang has steadily built his presence with roles in dramas like 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay', 'Somehow Encountered You', 'Connection', 'The Worst Evil', 'History of Losers', and films such as 'Vertigo', 'Not Out', 'The Outlaws', and 'Hwaran'. Known for his delicate emotional expressions and versatile character portrayals, audiences are eager to see what new facet he will reveal in 'A Hundred Memories'.

JTBC's new weekend drama 'A Hundred Memories' is set to premiere on September 13 at 10:40 PM.
