Actress Lee Min-jung recently surprised her husband, actor Lee Byung-hun, with a unique birthday gift—a cake filled with cash.
On the YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ,' Lee shared stories about her five-year hiatus and the special cash gift for her husband. During a high-end jewelry photoshoot, Lee humorously remarked, "Isn't this worth a house?" After the six-hour shoot, she enjoyed a relaxing evening at home with sushi and white wine.
Lee joked about her personality, saying, "I wanted to communicate live, but the production team advised against it, saying it might be risky. Is my personality risky?"
Addressing fans' questions about her acting career, Lee explained, "I have a TV drama that was filmed before my pregnancy, but due to some issues, it hasn't been aired for three years." She added, "I finished filming another project in March this year. The delay in releasing these projects has created a five-year gap, making it seem like I've been inactive. I hope to release something this year or next."
Lee started her YouTube channel because she felt distanced from the public. "Since starting YouTube, many people have said, 'It's been a while since I've seen you.' It feels rewarding and good now," she shared.
Regarding self-care, Lee mentioned, "I don't have time for separate workouts due to parenting. I play actively with my kids." On post-pregnancy weight management, she said, "After my first child, I thought eating well was enough, but I learned you should return to your previous body within 3-4 months. I focused on Pilates and core exercises after my second child."
In July, Lee gifted her husband a cake with cash for his birthday. "It's been a while since I've received pocket money," she said, as 50,000 won bills emerged from the cake, drawing envious cheers from those around. Comedian Shin Dong-yup playfully tried to grab the cash, but Lee Byung-hun humorously defended it, saying, "It's mine!"
