YG Entertainment has officially announced the comeback schedule for BLACKPINK.
On the 18th, YG Entertainment revealed the release dates for their artists' new albums through their official YouTube channel.
Yang Hyun-suk, YG's executive producer, addressed BLACKPINK's comeback, stating, "Many are curious. The members and producers are working hard. We hope to release BLACKPINK's album by November at the latest. We are striving to bring BLACKPINK's album to you soon."
Regarding TREASURE, he mentioned, "They recently celebrated their 5th anniversary. They are now adults, truly becoming young men in their early 20s. The past five years of TREASURE's youth was Act 1. The album released on September 1 marks the beginning of Act 2. This album features retro-based music and includes four tracks, offering a more comfortable listening experience."
There has been a change in the comeback date for BABYMONSTER. Yang stated, "The album initially set for release on October 1 has been moved to October 10 due to the Chuseok holiday in early October, which presents logistical challenges for album release and distribution." BABYMONSTER's new album will consist of four tracks. He added, "We planned to include 'Hot Sauce' in the mini-album but decided to keep it as a special summer single. The title track is 'We Go Up,' symbolizing BABYMONSTER's ambitious rise."
Yang concluded, "Please support and enjoy the upcoming albums from TREASURE, BABYMONSTER, and BLACKPINK."
