ASTRO Unit ZOONIZINI Eager for Festival Stages, Eyes on 'Waterbomb'

ASTRO's unit ZOONIZINI, consisting of members MJ and Jinjin, is eagerly awaiting an invitation to perform at the 'Waterbomb' festival.

Recently, ZOONIZINI held an interview at Fantagio's headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their debut unit album 'DICE'.

Their first mini-album 'DICE' explores an unpredictable journey symbolized by rolling dice. The album features six tracks that weave together into a cohesive story, including a song that captures the excitement of a festival.

With their unit debut coinciding with the festival season, the members expressed their strong desire to perform on festival stages. MJ shared, "I want to go to 'Waterbomb'. Another goal is to perform as a guest on Psy's stage. It's one of my dreams," he said with a sparkle in his eyes.

Jinjin proudly mentioned, "I'm already working on my physique," showcasing his dedication. MJ humorously added, "I'm not working on mine," which elicited laughter. He explained, "Since the leader is working on his, if both of us show off, it might be distracting. So, we decided to focus on one. Jinjin is working hard on his body." Jinjin also joked, "When Moonbin & Sanha went to 'Waterbomb', Moonbin showed off his body and Sanha took off his shirt. I'll tear off my unprepared brother's shirt and create another buzz," bringing more laughter.

The title track 'Some Things Never Change' is an emotional hip-hop track featuring a rhythmic piano loop and classic boom-bap beat. It's an easy-listening song with simple yet addictive rapping and melody. Jinjin participated in the production of five tracks, including the title song, to craft ZOONIZINI's unique musical style.

ZOONIZINI's debut album 'DICE' will be released on various online music platforms at 6 PM on the 13th.
