ASTRO's unit ZOONIZINI, consisting of members MJ and JinJin, recently shared the behind-the-scenes story of their full group concert.
ZOONIZINI held an interview at the Fantagio headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their debut album 'DICE'.
ASTRO, the group ZOONIZINI belongs to, held their first full group concert in three years last June at the Incheon Inspire Arena and Japan's Fukuoka PayPay Dome. The concert was made even more special with the participation of former member Rocky.
Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, ASTRO members have been actively pursuing individual activities in various fields such as dramas, musicals, and solo projects. Despite their busy schedules, they managed to come together for a full group concert, showcasing their unity on stage.
JinJin shared, "Eunwoo was the first to bring up the idea. He expressed his desire to hold a concert before his military enlistment if our schedules aligned. Eunwoo has been incredibly busy, so I was grateful he initiated the conversation. I'm also thankful to the members who came together after Eunwoo's suggestion. It's impossible to unite without a strong bond among us," expressing pride in their close relationship.
He continued, "We held meetings together before the concert. It was a moment we all missed dearly," adding, "Despite our hectic schedules, we practiced until dawn. We only managed to gather 5-6 times during the month of intense preparation, yet we pulled off the concert, enduring the challenges by thinking of Bin. It was a well-crafted performance, and we were satisfied with the result. It was a product of our collective hard work."
ZOONIZINI's mini-album 'DICE' narrates an unpredictable journey through the roll of a dice. The title track 'Some Things Never Change' is an emotional hip-hop track featuring a rhythmic piano loop and classic boom-bap beat. It's an easy-listening song with simple yet addictive rapping and melody.
The album includes six tracks, starting with the title track and followed by 'New World', 'Utopia', 'Favorite Memory', 'Starlight Voyage', and 'Restart', all connected in a single storyline. JinJin participated in the production of five tracks, including the title track, creating a unique musical color for ZOONIZINI.
ZOONIZINI's debut album 'DICE', marking their exciting first musical journey, will be released on various online music platforms at 6 PM on the 13th.
