ASTRO's unit ZOONIZINI, consisting of members MJ and Jinjin, recently opened up about their feelings regarding fellow member Cha Eun-woo's military enlistment.
ZOONIZINI held an interview at the Fantagio headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their debut album 'DICE'.
During the interview, the members reminisced about the moment last month when Cha Eun-woo entered the training camp. MJ shared, "I knew Eun-woo would do well, so I wasn't worried until the day before. But seeing him walk into the training camp, I felt a lump in my throat. I almost cried but held it back."
He continued, "Having experienced military life myself, I know it's tough, but seeing my younger brother go made me sad. Honestly, I miss Eun-woo now, but once he finishes training, we can visit him. I'm just waiting for that day."
Jinjin added, "When MJ enlisted, we couldn't accompany him inside due to COVID-19. Seeing Eun-woo at the training ground felt different. He's a cherished younger brother, and I hope he stays safe and returns healthy." Jinjin expressed, "It was different from when MJ enlisted. With MJ, I thought, 'He's older, he'll be fine,' but with Eun-woo, I worried more. I realized why parents often cry at these moments."
ZOONIZINI's mini-album 'DICE' explores an unpredictable journey through the metaphor of rolling dice. The title track 'Some Things Never Change' is an emotional hip-hop track featuring a rhythmic piano loop and classic boom-bap beat, highlighted by simple yet addictive rapping and melody.
The album includes six tracks, starting with the title track and continuing with 'New World', 'Utopia', 'Favorite Memory', 'Starlight Voyage', and 'Restart', creating a cohesive story. Jinjin contributed to the production of five tracks, including the title track, showcasing ZOONIZINI's unique musical style.
ZOONIZINI's debut album 'DICE' will be available on various online music platforms on the 13th at 6 PM.
