On the YouTube channel 'Hong Seok-cheon's Jewel Box', operated by Hong Seok-cheon, a video titled 'The Prince Im Si-wan Who Came Out on His Own' was uploaded.
As Im Si-wan appeared in the video, Hong Seok-cheon and Kim Ddol-ddol expressed their admiration with cheers. They praised Im Si-wan's visuals with great enthusiasm.
When asked about when he realized he was handsome, Im Si-wan replied, "I never really thought about it myself," adding, "It's common for neighborhood moms to say someone looks pretty." Hong Seok-cheon asked about his popularity during school days, to which Im Si-wan responded, "I couldn't really feel it because I went to an all-boys middle and high school, debuted with ZE:A, and then went to the military."
Regarding how he became an idol, Im Si-wan shared, "I was cast during my first year of university," explaining, "I entered Pusan National University to study mechanical engineering, but it felt like a continuation of high school." He continued, "It was the same routine of studying hard and repetitive daily life."
He added, "I thought it wasn't my calling, and since I liked singing, I participated in the 'Chinchin Music Festival', which was a gateway for famous singers." He revealed, "I didn't know that at the time; I just wanted to sing with a pure heart. I trembled while singing and was eliminated in the preliminaries, but I received a casting offer after the performance."
Meanwhile, Im Si-wan, born in 1988, is 37 years old and recently appeared in the Netflix movie 'Squid Game 3'. 'Squid Game' Season 3, which follows the story of Seong Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) who loses his best friend in a game he re-enters with his own agenda, and the Front Man (played by Lee Byung-hun) who hides his identity in the game, will be released in six episodes on Netflix on the 27th.
