With Seok-soo (played by Oh Seung-jun) dead, Jung-hyun (played by Kim Jin-young) set fire to the hideout to deal with the children. Just when it seemed everything was over, Woo Tae-sik (played by Choi Young-jun), presumed dead, miraculously appeared to rescue the children, creating a dramatic twist. Thanks to Tae-sik's help, the children narrowly escaped the flames, but Jung-hyun failed to catch Se-hee's daughter, another Ah-hyun (played by Kim Ji-an).

At Seok-soo's funeral, Ah-hyun was consumed with guilt and tears, while the children and Tae-sik also mourned his death, adding to the sorrow. Despite the despair, Ah-hyun steeled herself for revenge.

Se-hee, furious at Jung-hyun for losing the children, ordered him to kill the now-useless Ah-hyun. She then sent refund invitation letters to all 'The Defects' customers, blatantly revealing her absolute evil.

Due to Se-hee's heinous actions, many children faced the threat of being abandoned by their parents for not having 'superior genes.' To prevent this, Ah-hyun and Tae-sik personally approached parents considering refunds to expose the horrific reality of 'The Defects.'

On the day of the final showdown, Ah-hyun infiltrated the family camping event organized by Se-hee disguised as a child, but her identity was soon discovered by Jung-hyun. At the campsite, a shocking scene unfolded as parents simultaneously drew guns and aimed them at their children. The episode ended with Ah-hyun losing her composure in anger, heightening anticipation for the unpredictable finale.
