Unevermet: The First Step of IDNTT's 24-Member Boy Group

The unit Unevermet from the group IDNTT has taken the first step as a large-scale 24-member boy group. The seven members are the first to meet the public as the initial unit from the entire group.

Unevermet (Kim Do-hoon, Kim Hee-joo, Choi Tae-in, Lee Jae-young, Kim Joo-ho, Nam Ji-woon, Lee Hwan-hee) held a showcase for their debut album 'Unevermet' on the 11th at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

IDNTT is the first boy group from Modhaus, which previously launched the 24-member girl group tripleS. Like their 'sister group' tripleS, IDNTT is also composed of 24 members. Choi Tae-in explained, "The 24 members are divided into three units and will be revealed sequentially. We are the first to release an album."

Being the first unit of a large 24-member group came with its own pressures. Choi Tae-in admitted, "There was pressure being the first unit. Members of the second and third units asked us to pave the way for them." He expressed confidence in their selection as the first unit, saying, "We were chosen because of our outstanding skills and unique charms. Each of us has a lot to offer."

The unique universe of IDNTT might seem complex, but Nam Ji-woon expressed pride in it, saying, "After unit activities, members will continue to be combined through Gravity. Different members will join each unit, and we can also be reassembled into new units. The ability to handle various concepts and genres is our strength."

While many trainees endure tough times before debuting, some members of IDNTT have faced particularly challenging periods. Kim Do-hoon, who trained for eight years, finally made his debut in the music industry. He shared, "I worked hard through various companies over a long period. It's an honor to debut with IDNTT. It feels like destiny that I honed my skills for this moment. I can't believe I'm here, and I'm thrilled."

Nam Ji-woon, who reached the finals of JTBC's audition program 'Project 7' but was eliminated in 9th place, said, "After being eliminated, I was contacted by Modhaus. I saw it as my last chance and came. I'm happy to be active and don't regret grabbing this last opportunity. It feels more comfortable and better to work as a team rather than constantly competing."

Hwang Bo-min-gyeol, whose debut was postponed due to personal controversies, did not attend the event. The MC of the showcase stated, "The situation regarding Hwang Bo-min-gyeol has not been confirmed yet," and refrained from further comments.

The group mentioned SEVENTEEN as their role model. Kim Do-hoon said, "SEVENTEEN has many members, yet each one has diverse charms and individual styles. They fill the stage harmoniously as a team, which is impressive. As a large group, we aim to emulate that. We want to highlight each member's identity and create impressive performances."

The album 'Unevermet' features seven diverse tracks and is structured with 'triple title tracks.' The candidates for the 'super title track' are 'You Never Met,' 'Storm,' and 'BOYtude,' with the first identity of IDNTT to be decided through fan voting in Gravity.

IDNTT Unevermet's debut album 'Unevermet' was released at 6 PM on the same day.
