K-pop band DAY6 has achieved a sold-out status for their solo concerts at Goyang Stadium.
DAY6 is set to kick off their 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour < The DECADE >' with two concerts on August 30 and 31 at Goyang Stadium in Goyang City, marking a significant milestone in their career.
The tickets for these concerts were first made available to the official fan club, My Day, on August 8, followed by general sales on August 11. Both shows sold out immediately after the general sale opened. This marks the first time a domestic band has headlined a solo concert at Goyang Stadium, promising an expansive and open atmosphere.
Members Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon have seen their concert venues grow from the YES24 Move Hall in November 2015 to the KSPO DOME in May 2025. Last year, they performed at Jamsil Indoor Stadium with approximately 34,000 seats, Inspire Arena with around 40,000 seats, and made history as the first K-pop band to perform at Gocheok Sky Dome with about 38,000 seats. Their upcoming KSPO DOME concert will set a new record with a capacity of 16,000 per show, drawing a total of 96,000 attendees over six performances. The outdoor concert at Goyang Stadium is particularly anticipated as both DAY6 and their fans, My Day, have longed for such an event.
DAY6 will release their fourth studio album, 'The DECADE,' on September 5 at 6 PM. This new album comes nearly five years and eleven months after their third studio album, 'The Book of Us: Entropy,' released on October 22, 2019.
