Nam Yoon-su shared a story about how his popularity waned with the arrival of Cha Eun-woo on the SBS variety show 'Shoes Off, Dolsing Fourmen'.
On the episode aired on the 5th, the show featured broadcaster Choo Sung-hoon, singer Park Ji-hyun, and actor Nam Yoon-su.
During the show, Nam Yoon-su was asked, "Did you kiss 300 times in a year, and were all your partners men?" He revealed, "In the drama 'The Law of Love in a Big City', which is based on a novel, I had kiss scenes with seven men over eight episodes."
Nam Yoon-su boasted, "As I kept doing it, I got better at kissing. My co-actor even said, 'You seem to be good at kissing.'" Choo Sung-hoon showed interest, asking, "Do you have a special technique for kissing? Teach us how you did it differently." Nam explained, "I kissed differently with each partner."
He added, "My first love was a shy kiss, but after military service, it became more intense." When Kim Jun-ho asked, "Isn't it different between kissing a man and a woman?" Nam replied, "It felt the same to me." Choo Sung-hoon realized, "I thought men's skin was thicker, so their lips would be too. But it's the same," while Tak Jae-hoon jokingly suggested, "If it's the same, let's try it among ourselves," causing laughter.
Choo Sung-hoon, getting too involved, asked, "Are you interested in men?" Nam Yoon-su quickly responded, "I like women." Tak Jae-hoon humorously scolded, "If you don't want misunderstandings, don't act so well. It's your fault," bringing more laughter.
Meanwhile, Nam Yoon-su, once known as the 'Chair King of Hanlim Arts High School', boasted, "I had long hair, baby fat, and smiled a lot as a student. I think people liked me because I was quite charming."
Nam Yoon-su revealed, "I once received confessions from five people at once," and added, "I contacted them as friends, but they didn't see it that way. After that, I stopped contacting anyone."
However, Nam Yoon-su's popularity took a hit when Cha Eun-woo transferred to his school. Nam explained, "I had a warm style, but Cha Eun-woo was a classic handsome guy. Since Cha Eun-woo was busy with his debut and couldn't attend school often, I was more popular because I was there every day." Tak Jae-hoon teased, "Are you saying you were more popular than Cha Eun-woo? You're trying not to lose to him," eliciting laughter.
