K-pop band DAY6 is set to celebrate their 10th anniversary with a solo concert and the release of a new studio album.
On August 4, JYP Entertainment unveiled a special video titled 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Announcement: The DECADE of us' on the band's official social media channels. According to the announcement, DAY6 will release their fourth studio album, 'The DECADE,' on September 5, marking their comeback. This album is their first full-length release in nearly five years since 'The Book of Us: Entropy' in October 2019, much to the delight of fans.
Ahead of the album release, DAY6 will host a 10th-anniversary solo concert titled 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour ' on August 30 and 31 at the Goyang Sports Complex. This venue marks a historic first for a domestic band. Members Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon will share meaningful moments with their fans, known as My Day. The event promises a variety of exciting content to celebrate the decade-long journey with their fans.
Since their debut on September 7, 2015, DAY6 has continued to engage with fans through new music and performances, solidifying their status as a leading K-pop band. Their digital single 'Maybe Tomorrow,' released on May 7, topped various domestic music charts. Additionally, they concluded their 'DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR ' with six solo performances at the KSPO DOME in Seoul, attracting a total of 96,000 attendees. In July, they held their fourth official fan meeting, 'DAY6 4TH FANMEETING ,' at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium.
