Singer Young Tak has been selected as the first participant in 'Project Blue,' a fundraising broadcast series by UNICEF Korea and JTBC, aimed at spreading positive influence.
The segment featuring Young Tak, titled 'Young Tak's Hope Blues,' highlights the resilience of Ugandan children facing child labor and malnutrition, and Young Tak's support for their unwavering spirit.
From June 1 to June 6, Young Tak visited Moroto, Uganda, where he witnessed firsthand the harsh realities faced by children working in marble mines and those suffering from malnutrition.
Young Tak shared, "I learned so much from the children who strive to keep smiling despite their difficult circumstances," and urged, "Please show your support so these children do not lose hope."
This heartfelt journey will be broadcast on August 24 at 10:30 AM on JTBC under the title 'Young Tak's Hope Blues.'
In addition to his involvement in UNICEF's Project Blue, Young Tak is recognized as a versatile artist with a positive influence, serving as an official ambassador for various organizations, including Korail, the Mongolian Tourism Board, and the Korean Sports Association.
