Former Taekwondo Athlete Kim Yo-han Transforms into Rugby Player in New Drama 'Try'
Kim Yo-han, known as a former member of the national Taekwondo team in 2015, takes on the role of a rugby player in a new drama, marking his return to the entertainment industry six years after debuting as an idol in 2019.

On the 25th, a press conference for the SBS drama 'Try: We Become a Miracle' (hereafter referred to as 'Try') was held at the SBS headquarters in Mok-dong, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Yoon Kye-sang, Im Se-mi, Kim Yo-han, and director Jang Young-seok.

'Try' is a comedic sports drama about an unpredictable and eccentric coach, Joo Ga-ram (played by Yoon Kye-sang), and the underdog rugby team of Hanyang Physical Education High School as they strive for victory in the national sports competition. Kim Yo-han plays the role of Yoon Sung-joon, the captain of the rugby team.

When asked why he chose this project, Kim Yo-han stated, "The script was incredibly fun, and I really wanted to play the character Yoon Sung-joon." He further explained the allure of rugby, saying, "Rugby is a sport that cannot be played alone. Passing, physical contact, and teamwork must all come together to place the ball in the designated area. No one can be missing."

Regarding his preparation for the role, Kim Yo-han shared, "I trained with rugby players every week starting three months before filming began." He added, "It was challenging because rugby is an unfamiliar sport, but I gradually found it enjoyable. I had fun both during practice and filming."

In conclusion, Kim Yo-han expressed, "The director, staff, and actors all worked very hard on this drama. We ask for your interest and love."

'Try' premieres at 9:50 PM on the same day.
