On the YouTube channel 'Jipdaesung,' Daesung shared a humorous story about a burglar breaking into his home.
On the 18th, actors Kim Nam-gil and Kim Young-kwang appeared on the channel.
During the episode, Daesung referenced the Netflix series 'Trigger,' in which the two actors star, and asked, "If you woke up to find a gun delivered to your doorstep, how would you use it?"
Kim Nam-gil humorously replied, "When I was younger, I would have gone straight to someone I disliked, kidnapped them, and bang!" This response elicited laughter. In contrast, Kim Young-kwang said, "I think I would report it immediately. I've never imagined such a scenario," which drew some playful jeers.
Observing their contrasting personalities, Daesung quipped, "Kim Nam-gil is 'Show Me the Money,' while Kim Young-kwang is 'Give Me the Money,'" causing an uproar of laughter.
Kim Nam-gil then turned the question back to Daesung, asking, "How would you use it?"
Daesung replied, "I think I would keep it to myself and not tell anyone. There aren't many now, but occasionally there are. Just in case." Kim Nam-gil reminisced, "In the past, some homes kept gas guns for security."
Daesung confessed, "When I was young, I actually encountered a burglar at home. My mother, who was up early for morning prayers, ran into the burglar in the living room."
Daesung continued, "We lived in a townhouse at the time, and the burglar turned around and left upon seeing someone. That's why I think I would keep a gun for self-defense."
In response to their conversation, Kim Young-kwang asked, "Is it because there's a lot to steal that burglars break in?" Daesung and Kim Nam-gil humorously replied, "We must have lived in a conflict zone. If there was a lot to protect, we would have been prepared," causing more laughter.
