Stray Kids have set new records with their solo concert at a major stadium in Frankfurt as part of their world tour.
On July 15th, Stray Kids performed at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany, as part of their 'Stray Kids World Tour 'dominATE''. The concert drew a massive crowd, with tickets selling out completely. This event marked the largest K-pop solo concert ever held in Frankfurt and Germany, showcasing the group's immense popularity.
Deutsche Bank Park, the concert venue, is a large stadium that has hosted major sports events like the FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2024. It has also been a stage for global music icons such as Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, and Kendrick Lamar. Stray Kids became the first K-pop and Asian artists to perform solo at this venue, adding another 'first' to their world tour achievements.
During the concert, Stray Kids delivered electrifying performances of fan-favorite hits like 'Thunderous' and 'God's Menu', along with title tracks from their Billboard 200 chart-topping albums. They also showcased unit songs that highlighted the members' musical chemistry, performing over 30 songs in total. The audience responded with enthusiastic cheers and sing-alongs, culminating in a high-energy finale with 'ITEM', creating a special summer festival for Stray Kids and their fans, known as STAY.
As the concert concluded, Stray Kids expressed their gratitude to the fans, saying, "Performing with STAY made the concert truly perfect, and we were deeply moved countless times. Thank you for creating happy memories with us today."
Following the Frankfurt concert, Stray Kids announced their successful European tour, which includes six locations and eight shows. They will head to London on July 18th and 19th, becoming the first K-pop artists to perform at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The tour will continue in Madrid on the 22nd, Paris on the 26th and 27th, and conclude with their 'largest-ever' world tour finale in Rome on the 30th.
