SHINee's Onew has shared the reason behind his ability to keep up with a hectic schedule.
On the 15th, Onew held a media showcase at the Myung Hwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of his second solo studio album, 'PERCENT'.
During the event, Onew stated, "I am currently pursuing solo activities with a new company after being with SM. My main goal was to perform. There are many aspects to communicate about, such as arranging songs, which isn't easy. That's why I felt the need to create my own music quickly and didn't take a break."
He continued, "The previous company helped me develop these abilities," expressing gratitude towards SM, where he spent 15 years. He added, "The company I'm with now is also supporting me well. The members who are with me are a great source of strength, allowing me to keep going without getting exhausted. I have a vague certainty that someone will be there for me when I'm tired."
Onew's second studio album 'PERCENT' comes approximately five months after his mini-album 'CONNECTION', released in January this year. The new album's title track, 'ANIMALS', captures the moment of instinctual liberation, featuring a refined bassline and acoustic guitar sound. The album includes a total of 11 tracks, with Onew participating in the overall production process, continuing from his previous work.
Onew's second studio album 'PERCENT' will be released on various music streaming sites at 6 PM today.
